ok this is very late haha cos I haven't been able to use the comp, and confirmation camp was from fri to sun, which is like one day after batch chalet ended. anw, I shall blog one post for batch chalet and one for church camp. hope I have time and I can rmb! haha still have to check facebook somemore.
ok day 1. arrived at costa sands PASIR RIS. which was last yr's one, and apparently not this yr's one haha so sam, julia, jolyn and I all took sam's dad's car back one round to the DOWNTOWN EAST one. yay we should have batch chalet at a diff chalet every yr. I want aloha bungalow next yr! and we can really have a amazing race next time! (I hope)
guess what. when we arrived, the batch alrd went in before us, so we had to pay 1 buck as "guests". -.- evil pootheads! pouts. haha anw, went to the rooms, knew they were a lot smaller cos section chalet '06 was there, managed to settle in, started games after some time. whoo games were DA BEST man! haha ego ego ego. though I know like almost everyone wanted to kill me afterwards. flour was whooo! shall post some pics later. then cherades was um okay I think. with keyun's amusing "huh?" + "money $$" = "harmony". X) the water game apparently killed ppl's legs heh oops. and wetted the whole floor.
ok after games was cycling. crap I can't spell cycling! it doesn't look right... ok maybe it is. anw, we rented bikes, $5 per hr, which to me is quite ok lah. but we ended up wasting 80% of the time away at the pasir ris kiddy playground. -.- eh but quite fun ok! though evil jess was trying to murder us by shaking the pyramid like siao when we were climbing it. oh and she got a random cut on her leg from who knows where. O.o ok then went back and most of them were back alrd except talia and rebecca, who were the ones with the receipt haha how convenient.
ok when we went back, we started preparing for batch um PICNIC dinner. well as you prob know, picnic dinners never work. last yr it was outside the chalet appartments, this yr, it ended up at the bbq pits. anw, it was quite fun and bonding lah, though we were kinda split into 2 tables. and sherry popped by to say hi lol. and rebecca made an audible whisper that she looked like miss lim and she was like "I don't ok!".
ok after that was bathing which wasn't much interesting, then indiving, then sleeping. haha I bet we killed a lot of ppl with our indiving. and when sleeping time came, talia and rebecca decided to sit up at the door erm talking cos they couldn't sleep haha. and when they finally came, julia was alrd sprawling so talia had like no space to sleep lol. poor talia. managed to sleep quite ok, woke up only once at 4.45 liddat.
ok 2nd day we woke up and went for band. zzz. bah lazy ppl who slept late and took taxi. bwahaha we were early and they ended up late. yupp anw indiv/taking (sadly it ended up as slacking), then sectionals, then lunch, then band prac. omg lunch was the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life. picture abt 70 ppl squishing under the basement escalator at fareast in various circles such as woodwind, brass and perc. O.o crazy sight I tell you. section lunch became band lunch. and everyone was back late unfortunately so we all missed a bit of section warmups. I think.
ok went back by taxi cos noone wanted to bus/mrt with me and be environmentally-friendly. the taxi uncle was quite nice, and eeiyn managed to converse in fluent chinese with him hahaha. he was talking abt "ming2 xiao4 's" speaking english well or smth, then he was like if yall don't speak chinese, old ppl like me won't understand. then he offered us sweets and yujia was like whispering "are they expired?" haha.
ok wanted to cycle, but the bike rental shop that we always go to was closed, so we started walking to the playground. well yujia, sam and I ended up jogging, but with my horrible stamina I just let them go on after a while, and waited up for talia and rebecca. hmm why do talia and rebecca always appear in my post together haha. then we saw another bike rental shop, and ended up biking instead. AGAIN. wah legs damn suan. and first time double-biking in my life haha. sorry for nearly killing you rebecca. next time I shall sit behind like when I was with eeiyn and not enndanger the person doubling with me haha.
ok this time dinner was sadly unbonded cos abt 1/3 of us went foodcourt, bought some ramen things, (jess and I were sharing, told jolyn to get us anything remotely nice, and she got us HEALTHY MUSHROOM NOODLES. -.- okayy...), then the other 2/3 joined us later and they alrd bathed. ): well anw, when we finished and the rest were still eating, then the others on our table decided to eat ice kachang, so jess and I went back to bathe first. then bah, we only had one key, so the other room was DARK, so jess bathed first haha.
ok this sleeping time was fun. we were like trying to keep awake to wait for sam seah to fall asleep so we can hear her supposed "octopus noises" O.o lol. we decided to set keyun's phone alarm for 3am instead but we didn't wake up haha. eh but keyun and rebecca were up like half the night at intervals cos talia was doing funny things hmm. like turning around and mumbling and snoring but in a whistle cos her nose was blocked. haha the next morning rebecca was like "we wanted to hear weird noises from sam but we ended up hearing weird noises from talia!". haha.
ok 3rd day, back home! ): this yr's chalet we didn't do as much fun things, but it was fun all the same! (: lovu batch! haha and talia your sis is so cute! oh and oops my dad got the msg wrong that I was at east coast park area, so I waited half an hour haha. oops. thus ends batch chalet '07! looking fwd to the next one haha.
