Skincare & Makeup

hahaha yupp first lifeskill lesson of the year! um nothing esp eventful I guess. I was like the only one in the class getiing a cool colour eyeshadow I think. silver blue! haha I don't think I looked very different hmm.

I wanna wear contacts! but parents don't let and I'm a bit freaked out also. JOANNE (LAI) WHY YOU GO FREAK ME OUT EVEN MORE. hmpf. what drop into eye socket and have to dig out la, have to push it around your eye until it's at the right place la... __"__ OMG I'm very sure I returned the blusher brush and eyeshadow applicator but I came home and found them stuck in my doorgift bag! NOOOO! I'm so sorry shiseido! anw they gave lipstick samples lol. haha I'll save them for prom or smth. :P

WHEEE! pft cooking ppl, almost make us late. haha anw, joyce is so natural! and the narrator guy has like natural stage ability. and, for the climax of the ~~concert~~ ~~day~~ ~~weekend~~ YEAR, drumroll... THE SOLO! ahhhhh. it made me tear with makeup on. seriously. and it doesn't help that My Heart Will Go On sorta has F relevance ahh EMOEMOEMO. anw, cheer up sb! I really don't think _. *pats heads including mine* and OMG jess serious mo qi man. quotes angie "it's like catching a little kid with his hand in the cookie jar" hahaha. sigh anw play was funny and nicenicenice. I really wanted to cry! oh anw jess I get what you mean when you say that I want to cry and I'm going to cry is different. I MISS THEM.

ahh it's blur why is it blur! ))): bonks self and camera. at least I can vaguely see some ppl haha.

ah I wish my phone recording was not so static-y. ): haha perc ensemble was cool. (: sam looked zai on the bongos. ohman I didn't get a pic of brass quintet and _. X( haha anw the trumpet guys play so cutely. ah like every concert we go to we encounter pro trombones. ah and once again, ♥♥♥♥♥ the solo! alotalotalot. (':

Philharmonic Winds Concert

ahh it was great too! was expecting a short concert with only a few songs cos it was foc too haha. butbut they played like pop songs, cats (just memory though. EMOOO.), fantillusion, grease, chorale C (jay chou), beauty and the beast, and pirates (it's a diff version though I think). haha the conductor is super cute! he conducts with his little pinky out and he like dances around and there was this part he was gripping the back of his podium thingum and I had a strong mental image of DDR. don't ask either. haha and there was a CONTRAbassoon and a brown clar and a black flute. cooool. I totally want to see a contrabass sax live man.

haha anw, there were quite a few alto sax solos. I LOVE HER TONE. but their saxes have a more like jazzy tone than emo tone. as in like solo player (eg kenny G) vs band player (eg the common people like us). ahya nvm I don't think I make sense right. anw it stands out quite a lot. I keep hearing sax parts (excluding long notes). ok maybe it's just me. and guess what, there were BARI SAX SOLOS. I mean like O.o. so cool! I'm so going to tell valerie and joanne. haha and I realise that sax ppl ~~wobble~~ shake sideways when they play lol. like those jazzy/bouncy parts.

and so ends pearlyn's great weekend. shall not write about the HOMEWORK aspects of it hmpf.
